Szwedzi z Amon Amarth zapowiedzieli premierę koncertowego albumu, pt. "The Pursuit Of Vikings: 25 Years In The Eye Of The Storm". Wydawnictwo ukaże się 16 listopada 2018 roku pod egidą Metal Blade Records w formacie CD, DVD i Blu-ray.

Na "The Pursuit Of Vikings: 25 Years In The Eye Of The Storm" znajdzie się zapis z występu Amon Amarth na niemieckim festiwalu "Summer Breeze 2017". Zespół zagrał wówczas dwukrotnie: 16 sierpnia na scenie "T-Stage" i 17 sierpnia na scenie głównej. Wydawnictwo wzbogacone zostanie o dokument, podsumowujący ponad dwie i pół dekady działalności grupy.

Dyskografię Amon Amarth zamyka "Jomsviking" - jest to dziesiąty longplay studyjny Szwedów i pierwszy w ich dorobku album konceptualny. Materiał wyprodukował i zmiksował Andy Sneap. W utworze "A Dream That Cannot Be" gościnnie zaśpiewała Doro Pesch. Longplay trafił do sprzedaży 25 marca 2016 roku pod egidą Metal Blade.

W sesji nagraniowej partie perkusyjne zarejestrował Tobias Gustafsson z Vomitory. Poprzedni bębniarz Amon Amarth - Fredrik Andersson - odszedł z kapeli w marcu 2015 roku. Na jego miejsce kapela zaangażowała Jocke Wallgrena.
