Devilpriest pochodzi z Gliwic, formację założyli w 2015 roku gitarzysta i perkusista z grupy Anima Damnata. Skład uzupełnił Tom Hermies, udzielający się na gitarze w Embrional. Debiutancki album Devilpriest, pt. "Devil Inspired Chants", ujrzał światło dzienne 10 listopada 2017 roku, pod egidą Pagan Records.

W 2020 roku Durtal Tot rozstał się z Devilpriest. Obecnie zespół tworzą, oprócz Necro Docre na perkusji i Toma Hermiesa na gitarze, Passage de Rais z Black Hosts i M. Prelati z Sacrofuck.
